On Friday, I sat next to a young lady who had the pleasure of meeting Cesar Chavez’ daughter at an event. King’s impact on Chavez reminds me of our ability to influence others with our courageous actions. Ghandi, Mandela, King, Chavez….among many others.
Chavez said ““Non-violence is not inaction. It is not discussion. It is not for the timid or weak… Non-violence is hard work. It is the willingness to sacrifice. It is the patience to win.”
So true.
