My term is over. I am REALLY good with that.
However, there is a gray area around dropping the group you’ve loved immediately or slowly winding down. Due to my role, I think it’s best that I take steps to become conspicuously absent. It doesn’t mean I don’t care, but it’s best for the new team. It also ensures I don’t get aggravated by the misspelling of my name. 😃
After giving myself away for at least 8 years of volunteering, about half of my adult working life, I will be accepting payment for services that have traditionally been free. I’m taking one or two more clients at BR Communications to build out the communication of your brand, project, non-profit, etc.
So to my movement leaders, lay it all on the line while you are serving and then use your robust skill-set to make life after super slick! Wealth generation is part of our platform too.
Did anyone notice my butterfly theme at conference? Female butterflies die after laying all of their eggs. All eggs have been laid for NULYP. 😉
